A: The voltage matches, so theoretically, yes. However, it is crucial that you ensure the original device's charging circuit is designed for lithium batteries (constant current/constant voltage CC/CV mode). If the original device is only designed for NiMH batteries, it is strictly forbidden to use the original charger directly; you must replace it with a corresponding 8.4V lithium battery charger, otherwise, it will pose serious safety hazards.
Q2: Can the battery packs be connected in series or parallel to obtain higher voltage or capacity?
A: We do not recommend users performing series or parallel connections themselves. Each battery pack has a built-in independent protection board, and direct series connection may cause the protection board to malfunction; parallel connection requires highly consistent cell parameters and additional balancing measures. Q3: Does a new battery pack require long-term charging to activate it before first use?
A: No. Modern lithium-ion batteries have some charge when they leave the factory and have no memory effect. For first use, simply charge the battery fully with the matching charger (until the indicator light turns green) for normal use.
Q4: How should the battery pack be stored if not used for a long time?
A: It is recommended to store it in a cool, dry environment. If you expect not to use it for more than one month, please charge the battery to approximately 50%-60% of its capacity (voltage approximately 7.6V-7.8V) before storing it, and check and recharge it every 3-6 months.
Q5: How to recover the battery pack after the protection board triggers protection?
A: If it's over-discharge protection, simply connect the matching charger and charge normally to automatically recover. If it's over-current or short-circuit protection, after eliminating external faults (such as a short circuit in the device), disconnecting the load for a period of time or connecting the charger may also restore it. If it fails to recover multiple times, the battery may be damaged; please stop using it.
